Form owner

Every form in process management must have an owner. Only a staff user who is a participant of a form may be the owner. The form owner may not be removed as a participant. If a staff user starts a form they are the owner. If an agent user starts a form, the default staff participant, as defined in the template, is the owner.

  • Note: If a staff user is deleted, any forms they were the owner of are now owned by the user who deleted them. If needed, that user will be added as a participant.

Security

Staff users

  • A staff user who is a participant of a form may change the form owner. Being a participant requires the “Process managementâ€? privilege.

Agent users

  • Agent users see the form owner of forms they can see, but may not change the owner.

Modules

  • The form owner requires the "Process management" module.

Form owner selection

There are two ways to change the owner of a form

  • On the form details page click “Editâ€? in the “Infoâ€? section.
  • On the form details page click “Editâ€? in the “Participantsâ€? section.
