Rep

Summary

A rep sells supplier products to customers for agencies. A rep can be an employee of an agency or a subagent of them. The difference has no effect on commissions, but is tracked in RPM for information purposes.

Reps can only belong to one agency. An agent user can be both a rep and an agent manager if required.

Commission rules

  • Reps use the commission schedule and addendums of the agency they belong to. All reps in the agency use the same rules.
  • Split participants are reps and a split can be setup between reps of the same agency and/or across agencies. See Split
  • Reps are identified in the commission data by rep IDs. A rep can have any number of rep IDs from any number of suppliers. Rep IDs can be assigned to master IDs and assigning that master ID to an account group will essentially assign that rep to that account group.
