Summary

The option to hide the agent commission from an agent user.

Setup

Options

• The agent commission can be "Hidden" or "Not hidden" for each agent user
• Default for new subscribers and agent users added before this feature is "Not hidden"

Commissions web box

• Staff users see an edit link in the commissions web box on the details page of agent managers and agent reps.
• The current access is shown as "Hidden" or "Not hidden"

Subscriber default

• Each subscriber can select the default values for the options for all new agent users.

Import

• This option can be set by a rep import
• The "Commission access" column can contain one of 3 types of values:
  • "hidden", case insensitive
  • "not hidden", case insensitive
  • Anything else: New agent users get the default (see above), the access of existing agent users is not modified.

Manager + rep

If an agent user is both a manager and a rep, the commission box is seen on both pages and the setting is shared. In other words, changing the access on one affects the other.

Agent users

The following agent user pages have agent commission amounts that:

• Select a commission item: "Commission" column
• Commission item details: "Agent commission" row
• Agency summary: "Sales commission", "Commission", "Adjustments", and "Referral deduction" rows; "Referrals" and "Adjustments" tabs
• Rep summary: "Sales commission" row and "Commission" column under the tabs
• Rep commission history: "Agent comm." column
• Agency commission history: "Agent comm." column
• The download for each page matches what's displayed.
• Commission schedule is hidden if commission access is off

Staff users

• When a staff user is looking at a rep summary and that rep has the agent commission hidden from them, a note is shown under the page title:
  • "Agent commission is hidden from this rep"

Security

Staff users

• Editing rep commission access requires the "Edit reps, managers"
• Editing the rep commission access default requires the "Edit subscriber" privilege.
