Summary

The support contact is a message displayed on error pages and in the Help page. The content is user-editable and should contain instructions on how an RPM user can contact a support person.

  • Staff user error messages and email notification
  • Agent user error messages and email notification, but only if there is no subscriber support contact
  • Logon help (for all users since user type and subscriber may not be known yet)
  • Help page for every user

Subscriber

Shown

  • Agent user error messages and email notification if it isn't empty
  • On subscriber details page ("Support contact" web box). Visible to all users that can see the subscriber details page.
  • Help page for staff and agent users

  • "Edit" Link from web box

Display

  • Within "msgInfo" span for error messages and the web box.
  • Within div within blockquote for email notification

  • A message is shown depending on the level
    • Deployment: "This is displayed at the end of every error message and in the help. It is also in every email notice."
    • Subscriber: "Replaces deployment support contact message for agent users. It is also in every email notice.

Default

  • Default value for new deployments and subscribers is null for all levels.
